Yes. Tenement bays are the job we do most often on the southside. We measure each facet of the bay on its own, allow for the deep sandstone cills, and make the shutters so the panels meet neatly on the angles.
Is parking a problem for the measure and the fit?
The streets around Shawlands Cross are mostly metered or permit-only, so we plan around it. We carry our tools up rather than block a close, and a fit on a single bay is usually a short visit. Just let us know if there is a loading spot or a back lane that helps.
Will shutters work with my original sash-and-case windows?
They do. We fit the shutters to the window opening, so your original sashes stay exactly as they are. On a tall sash, tier-on-tier lets you open the top blades for light while keeping the lower half closed to the street.
